Data Scientist III

As a BI & Visualization Developer at our Analytics Practice, your role will involve actively working in a fast-paced environment where you will support the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence and analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop reports, dashboards, and advanced visualizations in collaboration with product managers, business analysts, and clients to meet their needs and requirements. - Provide support for new or existing applications, recommend best practices, and lead projects to implement new functionality. - Stay updated with contemporary visualization design and presentation techniques by learning and developing new visualization methods as required. - Review solution requirements and architecture to ensure appropriate technology selection, resource efficiency, and integration of multiple systems. - Collaborate in design and code reviews to ensure standards are met and recommend new visualization standards. - Build and reuse templates, components, and web services across multiple dashboards. - Support presentations to Customers and Partners, advising on new technology trends for maintaining a competitive advantage. - Mentor Associates to enhance their skills and knowledge in BI and visualization development. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of related experience with a BS or Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. - Proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, etc. - Strong understanding of PowerBI Tabular Model/Azure Analysis Services using large datasets. - Solid SQL coding experience with performance optimization skills for data queries. - Familiarity with different data models such as normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models. - Experience in big data environments, cloud data stores, various RDBMS, and OLAP solutions. - Design, development, and deployment experience in BI systems with a preference for candidates with ETL experience. - Knowledge of software solutions development, architectures, and service delivery practices. - Demonstrated success in completing multiple complex technical projects, experience with Onshore/Offshore application delivery model. - Understanding of business processes across multiple Master data domains in a services-based company. - Rational and organized approach to tasks, maintaining high professional standards in client, colleague, and staff interactions. - Effective written and oral communication skills, experience in gathering end-user requirements and writing technical documentation. - Strong time management and multitasking skills to meet deadlines under time-to-market pressure with occasional travel requirements.
