About the role
DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans. ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute test cases for manual and automated testing.Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and improve testing processes.Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools.Perform regression testing to ensure software quality after updates and fixes.Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to understand project scope and timelines.Provide detailed reports on testing progress, defects, and test coverage. Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.2-8 years of experience in manual and automation testing.Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for automation scripting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
