Full Stack Developer

Job Summary We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in developing POS (Point of Sale) applications using React, Redux, Node.js, Express.js, and MySQL. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in Git, API integration, and writing unit and API tests. You will be responsible for developing scalable and reliable web-based POS systems, integrating hardware where needed, and maintaining high-quality code. Key Responsibilities: Develop responsive POS interfaces using React.js and Redux Create and manage backend APIs with Node.js and Express.js Design and optimize MySQL database structures and queries Integrate RESTful APIs using Axios Write and maintain unit, integration, and API tests Work with Git for source control and team collaboration Debug and resolve POS-related issues including syncing, printing, and offline behavior Required Skills Strong experience in JavaScript (ES6+) Proficient in React.js, Redux, and component-based architecture Backend expertise with Node.js and Express.js Solid knowledge of MySQL schema design, joins, indexing API handling via Axios Testing using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Supertest Experience with Git (cloning, branching, merging, pull requests) Prior experience developing or maintaining POS systems Nice to Have: Understanding of hardware integration (e.g., printers, barcode scanners) Experience with offline-first web apps or service workers Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, or PM2 Exposure to TypeScript or mobile hybrid POS solutions (React Native) Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Job Location Chennai Experience Minimum 1 Year
