About the role
Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze system requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. - Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and/or automation). - Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar). - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured. - Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate backend data. - Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and deployment. - Contribute to the design and improvement of automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc. if applicable). - Provide detailed reports on test results, coverage, and overall product quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation). - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit). - Knowledge of API and database testing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
