Senior Software Test Engineer I (Cybersecurity)

As a Senior Software Test Engineer I at our company, your role will involve creating and maintaining automated tests based on manual test scripts and cases. You will collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure support on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and resolving potential issues. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support to Quality Engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment with high attention to detail - Research, analyze, and document findings - Test complex API, web, and mobile applications referencing database back-end systems - Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure system quality before customer release - Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration for valuable feedback - Derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle - Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems, verify fixes, and assist in creating software artifacts including test plans, cases, procedures, and reports - Plan test schedules/strategies aligned with project scope and delivery dates - Review software documentation for accuracy, compliance, completeness, and usability - Identify program deviance, suggest modifications, specify standards, methods, or procedures for product quality/release readiness - Conduct historical analyses of test results and collaborate with colleagues to evaluate/diagnose problems and recommend solutions Qualifications: - Proficient in Selenium/PlayWright, RestAssured with Java - Ability to work independently under general supervision - Practical knowledge of applicable work areas, adaptability to new technology/processes - Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, object-oriented programming, SDLC, builds, deployments, and problem-solving - Organizational and time management skills with a collaborative approach - Knowledge of programming concepts to read and implement complex test cases Educational/Experience Requirements: - Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent business experience - 4+ years of relevant experience As a Senior Software Test Engineer I at our company, your role will involve creating and maintaining automated tests based on manual test scripts and cases.
