Sr Software Test Engineer I

Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support Quality Engineering teams in a disciplined Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing of API, web, and mobile applications, while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive product excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide support to Quality Engineering teams with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in an Agile environment. Research, analyze, and document testing findings and observations. Influence engineering teams through clear of facts, best practices, policies, and testing standards. Test complex API, web, and mobile-based applications integrated with database back-end systems. Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases and test suites. Review, diagnose, and track reported defects while ensuring overall system quality before customer releases. Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated testing frameworks and continuous integration test pipelines. Derive testing requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. Reproduce, debug, isolate issues, and verify defect fixes. Create and maintain testing artifacts including: Test Plans Test Cases Test Procedures Test Reports Plan test schedules and testing strategies based on project scope and release timelines. Review software documentation technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, and risk mitigation. Provide recommendations on software usability, performance, and functionality improvements. Identify deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions. Develop and define quality standards, methodologies, and release readiness criteria. Conduct historical analysis of test results and quality metrics. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering stakeholders to diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
