About the role
Develop and maintain AEM Assets components and workflows. Customize and extend AEM Assets features to meet business requirements. Integrate AEM with other marketing and content management systems. Manage and optimize digital assets within AEM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, front-end developers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Implement best practices for asset management, metadata, and digital rights management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM Assets. Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and automated testing. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), with a focus on AEM Assets. Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with AEM workflows, components, and Sling models. Knowledge of AEM DAM (Digital Asset Management) and metadata schemas. Familiarity with OSGi, Apache Felix, and RESTful APIs. Understanding of web development best practices, including SEO and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: AEM certification is a plus. Experience with cloud services, such as Adobe Experience Cloud. Familiarity with other content management systems and marketing automation tools. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
