WLAN BLE Engineer with Python

As a WLAN / BLE Test Automation Engineer based in Hyderabad (Hybrid work model), you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will design and develop Python-based automated test scripts for WLAN/BLE products and create pytest-based test cases for embedded Bluetooth solutions. Your role will involve performing functional and non-functional testing of wireless products, analyzing Bluetooth traffic using Ellisys and other protocol analyzers, and debugging test failures with root cause analysis. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance automation frameworks and test suites, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and collaborate with development and application engineering teams for test planning and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop Python-based automated test scripts for WLAN/BLE products. - Create and execute pytest-based test cases for embedded Bluetooth solutions. - Perform functional and non-functional testing of wireless products. - Analyze Bluetooth traffic using Ellisys and other protocol analyzers. - Debug test failures and perform root cause analysis. - Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and test suites. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Collaborate with development and application engineering teams for test planning and issue resolution. - Monitor automated test execution and ensure quality deliverables. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in Python Automation, with at least 2 years in test script development from scratch. - Experience in Bluetooth Testing for at least 1 year. - Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Testing. - Familiarity with Pytest Framework, Git, Jenkins, and Embedded Wireless Testing. - Prior experience in Automotive Network/Embedded Wireless Domain. In addition to the above, you should ideally possess the following preferred skills: - Knowledge of Bluetooth 5.x/6.x protocols. - Experience with Bluetooth SIG specifications. - Exposure to Teledyne LeCroy tools. - Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted coding tools. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
