About the role

View original

Consara is developing an organisational-intelligence platform that operates on top of the enterprise systems organisations already run ERP, WMS, PMS, CRM, MES/SCADA and ITSM platforms. These systems are effective systems of record; they are considerably less effective at supporting coordination across functions or anticipating failure. Consara's platform is designed to connect to these systems and reason over the data they produce, rather than replace them. We are pre-launch. Before committing to a build sequence, we are conducting a structured programme of primary research into integration feasibility and market demand. This role carries that programme. The engagement comprises two workstreams of equal weight. Integration feasibility. Establish, platform by platform, what integration looks like in practice across the major ERP, PMS, CRM, WMS, MES/SCADA and ITSM systems: the API surface each vendor actually exposes; the underlying data structures; the availability of event-driven or streaming mechanisms as against polling; partner-programme requirements and certification tiers, and what remains accessible to non-certified integrators; and the applicable data-privacy and residency constraints. Sources will include vendor documentation, partner-programme channels, and practitioners who have built against these systems. Market validation. Conduct structured interviews with operations leaders, IT heads and process owners across manufacturing, logistics, GCCs, healthcare operations and hospitality, to establish where cross-departmental coordination systematically fails, what those failures cost, the extent to which that cost is visible to leadership, and what evidence a decision-maker would require before purchasing a system that addressed it. The two workstreams inform each other: the first establishes where integration is technically feasible, the second where it is commercially urgent. The outputs are written structured synthesis documents identifying recurring failure patterns, data-visibility gaps, integration constraints and viable points of intervention, at a standard sufficient to support product and market-entry decisions. The findings of this engagement will directly determine what Consara builds first and which industry it enters. A minimum of three years' hands-on experience implementing, configuring, integrating or administering enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PMS, MES, WMS or ITSM) in a techno-functional, integration engineering, solutions consulting or systems analysis capacity, at a systems integrator, a software vendor, or in-house. Experience operating such systems as an end-user does not qualify. Working fluency in integration mechanics: APIs, data models, event streams, middleware and common integration patterns. A demonstrated record of independently securing and conducting meetings with senior stakeholders, and of producing analytical writing precise enough to support commercial decisions. Strong written and spoken English; the role is conducted substantially through interviews and written synthesis. Based in Bengaluru, and able to operate with minimal supervision on a problem whose structure is still emerging. The engagement is well suited to independent consultants, principals of boutique consultancies, and systems-integration professionals between engagements. It is a defined six-month engagement, not a route to a full-time position, and it is not a sales role or a desk-research role: primary conversation and first-hand technical investigation are the method. Six-month contract. 70,000 per month (50,000 fixed; 20,000 performance-linked). Bengaluru-based and remote-first, with travel as required across research engagements. Direct applications only; no recruiters. Applications are reviewed on the day of receipt. Shortlisted candidates receive two written questions by email; a call with the founders follows within 48 hours of a solid response, and a final decision is made within the week. Thoughtful, specific written responses are weighted heavily over generic submissions.
