Intern - Business Intelligence (Hyderabad)

Intern - Business Intelligence ( 240003N ) DESCRIPTION SCOPE OF POSITION: The Information Technology Business Intelligence Intern will focus on helping the current Business Intelligence team with dashboard / reports / database validation process, supporting the BI developers in GSO with documentation. The Intern will also be trained in various BI and database tools and will be provided the opportunity to develop reports/dashboards for end users through TAC system. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: To Perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following: - Analyse the data and perform detailed data validation by comparing multiple systems using Microsoft Excel. - Document the results of analysis in Microsoft Excel, Work, Power point and Outlook tools. - Faster learning of IT tools and technologies and willingness to spend extra hours for self-learning. - Strong Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook. - Schedule meetings and co-ordinate various teams within BI and other teams in IT for data requirements. - Preparation and analysis of ad-hoc reports (self-service) after training. - Deliver small initiatives and projects related to reporting with no or mnimal assistance. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: - Must be a current graduate majoring in an accredited degree program for Computer Science/Engineering or similar. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills - written & verbal. - Robust technical knowledge of personal computers. - Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize work. - Knowledge of databases and any BI tool preferred. - Strong computer literacy, experience wit .
