Role: Senior Java Full Stack Developer - 1 Year Contract, Full-Time Conversion possible Location: Mumbai Work Model: First 3 months: 5 days WFO. After 3 months: 3 days WFO + 2 days WFH. 2 weekly offs. Experience: 8-12 Years Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join a global banking technology team supporting large-scale KYC and Counterparty Referential applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications in a cloud-native environment while collaborating with global teams across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and modern full-stack technologies. Build and maintain cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and related technologies. Develop and enhance REST APIs and backend services. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Technical Leads to deliver scalable solutions. Participate in system design, technical architecture, and implementation planning. Implement DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD practices. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including production support. Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment documents. Mentor junior developers and conduct peer reviews. Integrate new tools and technologies within the enterprise ecosystem. Must-Have Requirements 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development. Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 11+). Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise applications. Strong SQL and database development skills. Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Nexus, Liquibase, SonarQube, and related DevOps tools. Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, TDD, and code quality practices. Experience building REST APIs and backend services. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good to Have Experience with Angular or React (4+ years preferred). Experience with Kafka. Exposure to microservices architecture. Kubernetes and container orchestration experience. Scripting experience (Bash, Korn, Bourne Shell). Banking or financial services domain experience. Knowledge of cloud-native application development. Candidate Profile Strong software engineering mindset with passion for technology.
