Responsibilities: Define State AI architecture (compute, cloud, data, models); identify high-impact departmental AI use cases; provide technical oversight to CoE and ITI AI Labs; evaluate AI tools, platforms, and vendors; ensure open standards and interoperability; Guide dataset creation, model development, and deployment; advise on cybersecurity, data privacy, and ethical AI; mentor technical teams and startups. Deliverables: State AI reference architecture; AI use-case blueprints; technical evaluation reports; deployment guidelines; security and ethical AI advisories.
