About the role
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex databases using Postgres, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Write and review complex PGSQL queries, procedures, and functions, while preventing blocking and deadlocks. Conduct code reviews for SQL objects and perform performance tuning to enhance database efficiency. Consult with application developers, providing expert suggestions and solutions for database-related challenges. Demonstrate strong logical thinking to address RDBMS and NoSQL concepts, and manage transaction databases with ACID properties effectively. Qualification & Requirements: 6+ years of experience in database design and development with Postgres DB. Proficiency in writing complex SQL and PGSQL, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning. Strong understanding of transaction databases (OLTP) and experience handling large-scale application databases. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
