Duties: Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements. Ensure compliance of standards and conventions in developing programs. Develop high quality database solutions. Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL. Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements. Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables. Develop procedures and scripts for data migration. Provide timely scheduled management reporting. Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements. Monitor and modify performance using execution plans and index tuning. Coordinate with business users in analyzing business requirements and translating then to technical specifications. Position Requirements: Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field plus two years of work experience in any position/title providing experience with SQL. Special Requirements: Position requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by the employer. Standard company benefits will be offered.
