Manager - Detail & Design Engineering

Role & responsibilities Electrical Design & Engineering Design and develop electrical systems for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) . Prepare electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) , load calculations, cable sizing, earthing design, BOQs, technical specifications, GADs, IO summaries, and MCC control schematics. Perform electrical calculations, load flow studies, and system analysis to ensure reliable and efficient system performance. Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical standards and project specifications. Project Execution & Commissioning Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and procurement teams for timely project execution. Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design quality and safety standards. Support project planning, risk assessments, and statutory compliance activities. Maintain as-built drawings, test reports, and engineering documentation. Technical Expertise Electrical system design for water and wastewater treatment facilities. LT/LV Motor Selection and VFD applications. IE2 / IE3 / IE4 / IE5 Motor Selection. Power Cable Sizing and Cable Tray Design. Electrical Load List Preparation. MCC Control Schematics. PLC Design, SCADA Systems, and Protection Schemes. AutoCAD and Electrical Design Software. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering . 8+ years of experience in Electrical Detail Design Engineering . Experience in Water Treatment, Wastewater, STP, ETP, WTP, Environmental Projects, or EPC Projects is highly preferred. Hands-on experience in detailed engineering, execution, and commissioning of industrial projects. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. Willingness to travel across India for short-term project assignments.
