About the role
As an IB Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) with a focus on building cloud-native, containerized applications using Java, Quarkus, and Apache Camel. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop microservices-based applications using Java and related frameworks. - Build and deploy applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and develop integration solutions using Apache Camel. - Create lightweight, high-performance services using Quarkus. - Utilize SQL Server for database design, queries, and performance optimization. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT. - Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes. - Implement messaging and integration using AMQP, STOMP, and TCP protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery and participate in performance testing, tuning, and optimization. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and automation. Technology: - Languages: Java (8/11/17/21+) - Frameworks: Quarkus, Spring Boot (optional), Apache Camel - Container Platform: Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes - Containerization: Docker - Database: SQL Server - Messaging/Protocols: AMQP, STOMP, TCP/IP - Security: OAuth2, JWT, Role-based access control (RBAC) - Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins (or similar CI/CD tools) Key Skills: - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts - Hands-on experience in microservices architecture - Experience with RESTful APIs design and development - Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes) - Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems - Solid understanding of authentication & authorization mechanisms - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills - Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus Preferred: - Experience working in airport/aviation domain systems - Familiarity with cloud-native design principles - Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) Soft Skills: - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work in agile development environments - Self-driven with a focus on quality and delivery timelines Qualification: - Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, IT, or related field - Certifications in Kubernetes/OpenShift, Java, or Cloud technologies are an advantage Good to Have: - Experience in high-availability and mission-critical systems - Knowledge of scalability and resilience patterns - Prior experience in secure application development As an IB Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) with a focus on building cloud-native, containerized applications using Java, Quarkus, and Apache Camel.
