About the role
About the internship: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources. 2. Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. 3. Writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases. 4. Building and testing basic machine learning models under the guidance of senior data scientists. 5. Visualizing data using tools such as Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) or BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. 6. Assisting in feature engineering and model evaluation. 7. Automating repetitive data processing tasks using Python. 8. Documenting methodologies, experiments, and results. 9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. 10. Preparing reports and presentations to communicate insights and model performance. 11. Supporting the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of machine learning models. 12. Staying updated with the latest data science techniques, tools, and best practices.
