Software Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing a system understanding of the product and ensuring that all features requirements are met in the intended environment setup. Your role will involve reviewing the software against the requirements, creating and executing the test strategy, and evaluating the compliance of software testing against defined standards for Safety Critical applications. Additionally, you will be expected to suggest improvements in processes, approaches, and product testing, take ownership of testing with quality, and drive continuous efforts to improve the team's knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the features requirements and their applicability in the intended environment setup. - Review the software against the requirements to ensure all the requirements are fulfilled. - Create and execute the test strategy. - Review the correctness, consistency, and adequacy of test cases and ensure all verification activities are followed as per processes. - Execute and review the test scripts developed on homegrown automation test environment. - Evaluate the compliance of software testing against defined standards for Safety Critical applications. - Suggest improvements in processes, approaches, and product testing. - Take ownership of testing with quality. - Drive continuous efforts to improve the team's knowledge.
