About the role
Job Description: You will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable applications on modern technologies and platforms. Your tasks will include writing code and unit tests of the highest quality, working on API specs, test automation, and conducting code reviews. Additionally, you will need to identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing technical needs and predict future challenges. It will be important to leverage your knowledge of internal and industry insights in making design decisions. Ongoing refactoring of design and code to continuously evolve the product will also be part of your role. You must ensure continuous process and technology improvement. Leading with an external perspective, challenging the status quo, and bringing continuous innovation to existing technologies, design, and code will be essential. Collaborating with product managers and scrum masters to understand and explore features for ongoing sprints and translating them into development work for the iteration will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Working with architects to ensure the creation of architecture and design, and then ensuring that the design is validated and implemented in code is also expected. You will design and develop proof of concept prototypes for advanced features and designs, as well as collaborate with development teams on work definition, estimation, and prioritization.
