Instrumentation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Plant Engineering team responsible for maintaining equipment and processes to ensure zero accidents, zero quality incidents, zero breakdowns, and achieve plant productivity. Your support to shift teams will be crucial in meeting targets. Key Responsibilities: - Adhere to plant safety procedures to ensure zero safety incidents - Maintain equipment uptime above 95% - Ensure 100% compliance to operations through batch portal - Achieve 100% PM and Calibration compliance - Procure spares and ensure 100% availability - Adhere to budgeted costs - Build capabilities in technicians - Update and maintain documentation (IMS, legal, department records, PM checklists, etc.) Critical Tasks: - Provide necessary training to team members - Motivate the team to increase productivity and achieve goals - Handle shift breakdowns, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence - Conduct preventive maintenance activities as per schedule - Calibrate field instruments as per schedule and when required - Ensure minimum stock availability of critical spares - Prepare daily Power reports and analyze them - Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements related to Electrical installations - Maintain documents related to PM checklists, breakdown analysis, Power consumption reports, and critical spares status - Supervise ITI technicians and oversee fieldwork execution - Maintain necessary documents as part of the system Qualification Required: - Diploma in ECE or E&I with a minimum of 4 years of work experience Additional Company Details: No additional details provided in the job description.
