Specialist (A4) – 4 Resources

Position : Specialist, Application/Production Support Experience Level:  4+ years Shift:  Rotational Shifts (24/7 Support)

Must Have Skills

Production Support Experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in operations support or system administration.

Ability to provide 24/5 production support in a rotational shift environment.

Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.

Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.

Hands-on experience in any scripting language, preferably Shell / Bash Scripting.

Ability to manage CI/CD pipelines and implement automation for build and deployment processes.

Working Experience with Azure Cloud / Azure DevOps .

Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts for routine tasks (e.g., backups, monitoring, patching).

Practical knowledge of administering and supporting MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.

Experience in resolving database-related incidents and performing backups.

Ability to work closely with development, DBA, and DevOps teams to resolve production issues.

Ability to document support activities, prepare reports, and create knowledge base articles.

Good to Have Skills

Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancing to support production applications.

Proficiency in Java / JavaScript, Python.

Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or Prometheus.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
