Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery EngineerExp-6 to 8 yrsJob Location-Coimbatore (Starting 2 months work from Pune office)Shift time : 06:00 AM TO 03:00 PM(EST) We are seeking an experienced Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and other cloud-based DR tools, ensuring data protection, business continuity, and high availability for our critical workloads. Required Skills & Qualifications - Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Experience : 5+ years of experience working with backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure. - Hands-on experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Recovery Services Vault. - Proficiency in designing and implementing backup strategies for virtual machines, databases, and file servers. - Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud disaster recovery solutions. - Strong knowledge of backup retention policies, encryption, and data protection practices. - Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting for automation of backup and recovery processes. - Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate. - Experience with third-party backup tools integrated with Azure, such as Veeam, Commonvault, or NetApp. - Understanding of business continuity planning and recovery strategies for mission-critical applications. - Familiarity with Azure storage services, including Blob Storage, Disk Storage, and Azure Files. Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. - Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process automation. .
