Job Title: Manual Tester - Functional Banking Domain Experience: 3-5 Years Location: Central Delhi Interview Mode: Face-to-Face Joining: Immediate Job Description: We are seeking a Manual Tester with experience in the Functional Banking Domain to join our dynamic team in Central Delhi . The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, specifically within the banking sector, and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the quality and functionality of banking applications. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional testing for banking applications, ensuring that all features and functionalities work as intended. Write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications. Perform regression, integration, and system testing to identify and resolve defects and inconsistencies in the software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans. Document and report defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, severity, and impact on business functionality. Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to ensure thorough test coverage. Participate in project meetings, providing insights on test progress, issues, and potential risks. Ensure that all testing is done in compliance with internal processes and standards. Assist in preparing test reports and tracking testing progress for project stakeholders. Desired Qualifications and Skills: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, specifically within the Banking/Financial Domain . Knowledge: Strong understanding of the banking systems, functional processes, and operations. Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases, defect tracking, and working with test management tools. Proficiency in functional testing , regression testing , and integration testing . Ability to identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise defect reporting. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Prior experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a plus. Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes within banking applications. Familiarity with any automation tools (though not mandatory) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
