Job Description: ServiceNow Business Capability Mapping, Application PortfolioImplementation, and CMDB Process Maintenance SpecialistPosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Business CapabilityMapping, Application Portfolio Implementation, Enterprise Architecture, and CMDBProcess Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for developing and maintaining business capability maps, implementingapplication portfolio management, ensuring robust enterprise architecture practices, andmaintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes within ourorganization. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow, enterprisearchitecture frameworks, application portfolio management methodologies, and CMDBbest practices.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Capability Mapping:- Develop and maintain comprehensive business capability maps to align IT serviceswith business objectives.- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document key businesscapabilities and processes.- Ensure that business capability maps are up-to-date and reflect the current state ofthe organization.2. Application Portfolio Implementation - Lead the implementation and management of the application portfolio within theServiceNow platform. - Conduct application assessments to evaluate the health, performance, andalignment of applications with business needs. - Develop and maintain an application inventory, including metadata, lifecycle status,and ownership information. - Work with application owners to define and implement application rationalizationstrategies.3. CMDB Process Maintenance: - Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database(CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. - Develop and implement CMDB policies, procedures, and standards to ensure dataintegrity and consistency. - Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that configuration items(CIs) are accurately recorded and maintained. - Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of the CMDB to identify and resolvediscrepancies. - Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on CMDBprocesses and best practices. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, projectmanagers, and IT operations, to ensure successful implementation of initiatives. - Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clearand concise manner. - Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on businesscapability mapping, application portfolio management, enterprise architecture practices,and CMDB processes.Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. AMaster's degree is a plus. - Proven experience in business capability mapping, application portfolio management,enterprise architecture, and CMDB process maintenance. - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its capabilities. - Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, orFEAF. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, or similar are highly desirable.Preferred Skills: - Experience with other IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management(ITOM) tools. - Knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture, and modern applicationdevelopment practices. - Experience in conducting application rationalization and modernization initiatives. - Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies. .
