About the role
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. / M.Tech. in Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering. Essential Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in the BOPET industry, converting (printing, lamination), or raw materials. Functional Competencies (Prioritized): Exposure to R&D / Product Development activities. Experience in ink/adhesive technology, printing/lamination, or coating industry. Cosmo Competencies: Drive for Entrepreneurship Collaboration for Success Developing Self & Others Accountability of Self & Others Managing Change & Innovation Sustainable Customer Focus Key Skills & Experience: Good knowledge and experience in analyzing equipment such as FTIR, GPC/HPLC, DSC, TGA, SEM, and other testing equipment. Experience in the area of packaging film for different converting and sealing processes. Experience with BOPET film and shrink film (PET-G) and their various additive systems required during processing. Experience in the BOPET/PET-G converting industry with R&D functionality. Experience in new product development from concept to commercialization. Knowledge and experience in different coating techniques, ink, adhesive, and printing. Good managerial, communication, and presentation skills.
