QA Tester

The quality assurance tester helps the company to ensure its products/ software a) meet the quality standards set by the company. Supports the company for improving the quality of its products. Role Accountabilities Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation. Ensure that the required standards of functional and non functional features of the software are met. Streamline the testing process by using automation, leveraging tools to reduce time and effort. Working with deployment teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs. Validate and assess inquiries, issues or test results reported by the users (through Support & Implementation Team), determine the cause of errors, recommend solutions, coordinate and endorse to appropriate IT professionals for technical resolution and/or end users for data and procedurals resolutions. Regularly update, monitor and update the status of the reported issues through issue register. Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests. Able to understand the business requirements and create the required test cases for Web, API and mobile applications. Execute the test cases and maintain the execution status and log defects for the failed test cases. Investigating customer problems referred the technical support team, testing bugs, creating and managing bug reports. Ensure compliance with audit and security requirements for all testing activities Experience, Qualifications and Skills Minimum Experience, Essential Knowledge & Skills: Minimum 2 years of Software QA experience. Experience in Agile frameworks and regression testing desired. High attention to detail and solid analytical skills. Proficient in test management software. Knowledge of programming languages. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytic & problem solving skills for root cause determination & fixing issues. Automated testing experience, preferably in Selenium. Should have testing experience in cloud-based applications. Strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies. Excellent English communication skills Academic Qualifications: BCA in any specialization, B.Sc in Computers, B.Tech/B.E. in Computers.
