About the role
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - End-to-end site deployment hardware, network, and software setup at hospital locations - Medical device integration and driver configuration (monitors, ventilators, pumps, anesthesia workstations) - Troubleshooting of ICU electronic charting and OT/AIMS platform at live sites - Conducting structured end-user training for nurses, anesthetists, and clinical staff - Coordinating with hospital IT for network provisioning, server access, and connectivity - Vendor management liaising with hardware vendors, networking vendors, and third-party service providers - Procurement and logistics managing equipment ordering, delivery, tracking, and inventory at project sites - Escalating unresolved technical issues to the product/engineering team with detailed documentation - Maintaining site deployment records, training logs, and support tickets - Travel to project sites across India as required by project schedule PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE - Education: B.E in Biomedical Engineering (preferred), Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent, Diploma in relevant - Experience: 1 - 4 years in a field deployment, biomedical services, or clinical IT role - Basic networking knowledge IP configuration, LAN/WAN concepts, Windows server familiarity - Familiarity with medical devices patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, anesthesia machines - Ability to read and follow technical documentation and deployment guides - Comfort operating in clinical environments - Willingness to travel frequently across India mandatory BONUS SKILLS - Prior experience in deployment or servicing of ICU/OT clinical software or bedside equipment - Knowledge of HL7 / medical device communication protocols (RS-232, serial, TCP/IP) - Experience working clinical environments - Exposure to hospital IT ecosystems HIS, PACS, LIS, EMR environments - Basic understanding of clinical workflows in ICU or OT settings - Experience with procurement processes POs, vendor coordination, logistics tracking - Solid documentation and reporting habits .
