ONLY FACE 2 FACE INTERVIEW at NOIDA Network L2 +Palo Alto Location: Noida Department: IT Infrastructure / Network Operations Reports To: Network Manager / IT Lead Required Skills & Knowledge Strong conceptual understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS. Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls: configuration, troubleshooting, security policies, VPN setup, and threat prevention. Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.). Familiarity with monitoring tools and RCA documentation. Ability to work in 247 support environments and participate in DR drills. Role Summary Provide advanced (L2) network support ensuring stability, performance, and security of enterprise network infrastructure. The role demands strong conceptual clarity of network protocols and hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls, alongside incident resolution, RCA analysis, and proactive monitoring. Key Responsibilities Deliver L2 support for network incidents and service requests. Perform RCA for major outages, SLA breaches, and recurring issues. Monitor WAN/MPLS/Internet links for latency, packet loss, and uptime. Ensure health of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers. Manage configuration backups and firmware/software updates for network devices. Generate performance and uptime reports for WAN/ISP links. Validate inventory of all active network components (switches, APs, routers, etc.). Participate in DR drills and test failover of links/routing paths. Provide network support for workplace expansion, new tool deployments, and cloud connectivity projects. .
