Backend Developer

As a software developer (backend) at our company, you will be working closely with the product team on various insurance products and features to drive growth. Your key responsibility will include continuous collaboration with engineers, product managers, and the quality team. Therefore, your ability and desire to work effectively in a team are a must. Key Responsibilities: - Must be proficient in at least one programming language, with a preference for Python/Django. - Good debugging and communication skills are essential. - Should demonstrate strong teamwork skills. - Possess at least 2+ years of experience in product-based organizations as a software developer. - Have working knowledge of both backend and frontend development. - Understand software architecture and design principles. - Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL), backend services (e.g. RESTful). - Hands-on work experience on Django or a similar backend framework. - Knowledge of GIT. Qualifications Required: - Working knowledge of deploying applications on Cloud infrastructure like AWS. - Exposure to microservices architecture is an added advantage. - Experience with AWS Lambda, Elastic Search, Kafka, Celery adds an advantage. - Collaboration in open-source projects will add brownie points to your profile.
