Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Plastics Engineering required; Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the plastics industry, including injection molding, part/tool/application design and development, or CAE analysis. Demonstrated expertise in one or more CAE techniques (e.g., mold filling simulation, structural analysis, composite modeling and mechanics, thermal/CFD simulation, thermoforming simulation) with practical application in production environments. Strong knowledge of plastics material properties, part and mold design, and injection molding processes. Proficiency in CAD/CAM/CAE/Meshing tools, with hands-on experience using CAE software for part and tool design. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver solutions aligned with both technical requirements and business objectives. Strong communication and leadership skills, including experience in teamwork, leading projects, report writing, and delivering presentations to customers or at technical conferences. Prior experience in data science and machine learning is highly desirable. Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
