Job Description BI Architect- Hybrid Role Title BI Architect Power BI, Tableau & BI Platform Administration Experience- 10 to 15 Years Location- Gurugram- Hybrid salary up to 35 lpa Role Summary We are seeking an experienced BI Architect with strong expertise in Power BI and Tableau Platform Administration, BI Governance, Platform Architecture, Migration, Automation, and Cloud Analytics. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing and managing enterprise-scale BI environments while also possessing hands-on exposure to dashboard development, data modeling, and BI solution implementation. This role requires a blend of architecture (40%), platform administration (40%), and development & automation (20%) expertise. Key Responsibilities BI Platform Architecture & Administration Design, administer, and support enterprise-scale Power BI and Tableau environments. Define BI platform architecture, governance frameworks, security standards, and scalability strategies. Manage Power BI Tenant Administration, Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud Administration, and platform configurations. Configure and maintain gateways, Tableau Bridge, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise integrations. Implement governance policies, auditing standards, monitoring frameworks, and platform best practices. Establish standards for workspace management, site administration, permissions, deployments, and lifecycle management. Platform Migration & Modernization Lead large-scale BI modernization and migration initiatives. Drive Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud migration programs. Support Power BI platform optimization and modernization initiatives. Manage migration of reports, dashboards, data assets, and metadata across Tableau, Power BI, and Sigma platforms. Assess existing BI landscapes and recommend migration strategies and target-state architectures. Support enterprise cloud transformation and analytics modernization programs. Automation & Platform Engineering Develop automation solutions using: Power BI REST APIs Tableau REST APIs PowerShell Python Automate: User provisioning Content migration Platform monitoring Governance audits Capacity management Security compliance Deployment activities Develop operational dashboards for platform health, adoption, administration, and governance metrics. BI Development & Solution Design Provide technical guidance for dashboard and reporting development teams. Hands-on experience with: Power BI Reports DAX Power Query (M) Dataflows Semantic Models Tableau Dashboards Tableau Data Sources Review BI solutions for performance optimization, scalability, maintainability, and governance compliance. Support development teams in implementing enterprise BI best practices. Data Platform & Cloud Integration Collaborate with Data Engineering and Cloud teams. Support integration of BI platforms with: Snowflake SQL Server Oracle Azure Data Platforms Microsoft Fabric Assist in migration of legacy data warehouse environments to modern cloud platforms. Optimize connectivity between BI solutions and enterprise data ecosystems. Security, Governance & Compliance Implement and manage: Row-Level Security (RLS) Object-Level Security (OLS) Sensitivity Labels Data Access Governance Auditing Frameworks Manage SSO integration using Entra ID (Azure AD). Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance policies. Monitor platform usage, performance, costs, and adoption metrics.
