About the role
Role & responsibilities Vendor Qualification: Vetting new suppliers' capabilities and quality systems before they are approved for purchase. Part Approval (PPAP): Reviewing and approving prototypes and initial production runs to ensure parts meet exact specifications. Auditing: Visiting supplier facilities to inspect their manufacturing lines and assess their adherence to quality standards. Defect Resolution: Investigating defective incoming materials, issuing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and negotiating solutions. Performance Tracking: Monitoring supplier scorecards based on metrics like Defective Parts Per Million (PPM) and delivery reliability. Preferred candidate profile Candidates who have done B.E/ B.
