Engineering Manager & Plant Engineering

As an Engineering Head for Plant Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multi-discipline plant engineering projects. Your role will require a strong multidisciplinary knowledge, particularly in Process, Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines. Your exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the delivery of plant engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring required quality levels are met. - Manage and mentor team members to enhance their competency and support their career development. - Act as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project technical and quality requirements. - Support proposal preparation activities by interpreting RFQ requirements, assisting in developing technical clarifications, and delivering a robust technical proposal aligned with customer expectations. - Ensure all engineering processes and deliverables meet required quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices. - Support Sales in customer meetings by anchoring discussions from a technical perspective and presenting capabilities and relevant case studies. - Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency, reduce efforts, and improve quality. - Appraise and groom team members to improve their performance and competencies. - Responsible for Quality Process Compliance for all projects and maintaining a process compliance index of over 95% for the Business Unit. - Continuously evaluate Productivity Improvement opportunities in various engagements and supervise the development of Productivity Improvement Tools. Qualifications Required: - Proven working experience in a leadership role in a Plant Engineering organization. - People-oriented and results-driven mindset. - Strong multidisciplinary knowledge, especially in Process, Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines. - Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent presentation and communication skills. - Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively engage with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
