Hi, Looking for Senior Network Engineer Location-Bangalore Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of global network infrastructure. This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and voice environments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong ownership, driving both operational excellence and strategic network evolution. Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and VoIP environments Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical designs Lead network engineering efforts including configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting complex issues and driving root cause resolution Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and operational efficiency Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture designs and build standards Support cloud networking initiatives including VPC design, routing, firewall configuration, and connectivity models Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing Drive alignment between network strategy and broader business and technology objectives Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Operational excellence and continuous improvement mindset Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication Design and architectural leadership Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against deadlines Vendor and stakeholder management Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, and operations Experience designing and supporting global enterprise network environments CCNP or equivalent certification preferred Technical Expertise Strong experience with Cisco platforms (Nexus, Catalyst, ISR, ASR) Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP) Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) Experience with core networking technologies: VPN (IPSec, GRE), MPLS, NAT/PAT, QoS High availability protocols (HSRP, VRRP) Network monitoring (SNMP) Hands-on experience with SDN and SD-WAN architectures Wireless networking expertise (802.11, Cisco Wireless Controllers) Network security experience (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls) Exposure to cloud networking (VPCs, peering, routing, firewalls) Experience with load balancing solutions (e.g., Citrix NetScaler preferred) Additional Expectations Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within a team Experience managing projects, timelines, and SLAs in complex environments Willingness to travel to support project delivery as needed Work Environment Office-based with occasional travel to sites May require lifting equipment up to 50 lbs and use of PPE in certain environments
