Business Analyst - Gloss Settlement Platform (Maharashtra)

Location: Chennai / Pune / Kolkata / Bangalore Notice Period: Up to 60 Days Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Capital Markets professional with strong expertise in Fixed Income and Equity settlement operations, regulatory processes, and technology-driven transformation initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business teams, technology teams, and stakeholders to analyze requirements, improve settlement workflows, and support large-scale capital markets programs.Key Responsibilities: - Work on capital markets operations with focus on Fixed Income & Equity trade settlement lifecycle, post-trade processing, and regulatory compliance. - Analyze business requirements, create functional documentation, and act as a bridge between business and technology teams. - Support implementation and enhancement of settlement platforms, data flows, and operational processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams for large-scale transformation projects. - Ensure adherence to market regulations including MiFID II and industry best practices. - Work with tools like Excel, databases, JIRA, and business intelligence platforms for analysis and reporting. - Hands-on experience with Gloss settlement platform is mandatory. Required Experience & Skills: - 710 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations. - Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity settlement workflows. - 46 years of experience in Business Analysis / Requirement Management / Consulting roles. - Experience in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and technology implementation. - Good understanding of settlement systems architecture and data processes. Simple Explanation of the Position (5 lines)This role is for someone who understands how capital markets trades are processed after execution, especially in Equities and Fixed Income settlements. The person should have both business knowledge and technology exposure to help improve systems and processes. They will gather requirements from business teams, work with IT teams, and support implementation projects. Knowledge of settlement platforms, regulations like MiFID II, and tools like JIRA/Excel is key. The role requires someone who can manage stakeholders and drive process .
