Senior Network and Security Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network and Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of network and security infrastructures of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of network protocols, security frameworks, and emerging cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and strengthening the security posture of our customers IT setup. Key Responsibilities: Network Architecture Design: o Develop and implement scalable network architectures that support business objectives. o Ensure high availability and redundancy across all network systems. Security Framework Implementation: o Design and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard network infrastructures. o Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities. Cybersecurity Strategy: o Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and trends. o Provide recommendations on security planning and mitigation strategies. Collaboration s Leadership: o Work closely with cross-functionalteams to align network strategies with organizational goals. o Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network and security staff. Required Qualifications: Education: o Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 4 7 years of experience in network and security architecture roles. o Proven experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures. Technical Skills: o Expertise in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). o Hands-on experience in either Data Security or Identity Security domains. o Proficiency with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies. o Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their security features. o Experience on Network monitoring & observability platforms shall be an added advantage. Certifications: o Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are a plus. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of cybersecurity and emerging trends in cyber threats.
