Job Title: Senior Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer (Java + Selenium + Database Testing)-THIS THURSDAY DRIVE-F2F-GURGAON Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid/WFO) Experience: 48 Years Notice Period: Immediate Joiners About the Role We are looking for a hardcore Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium Automation using Java and extensive Database Testing experience. The ideal candidate should have built automation frameworks, performed backend data validation, and worked in Agile environments with end-to-end ownership of testing activities. Selenium, Java, and SQL should be the candidate's primary strengths. Mandatory Skills Core Java Selenium WebDriver TestNG / JUnit SQL & Database Testing Automation Framework Development (POM, Hybrid, Data-Driven) Functional & Regression Testing Defect Tracking (JIRA) API Testing (Postman / Rest Assured) Git/GitHub Agile/Scrum Methodology Good to Have Cucumber BDD Jenkins / CI-CD Maven Performance Testing (JMeter) Banking, Insurance, or Product-based company experience Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration test scenarios. Write complex SQL queries for backend data validation and database testing. Validate ETL/data flow and data integrity across systems. Execute API testing and integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables. Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive them to closure. Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and test estimation. Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
