Data Governance Engineer (Collibra) 612 Years Mumbai/Pune (Hybrid) Summary An excellent opportunity for experienced Data Governance professionals to drive enterprise-wide data governance initiatives using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC). You will play a key role in implementing governance frameworks, managing metadata, enabling data stewardship, and supporting data quality and compliance programs. This role offers strong exposure to Collibra integrations, data lineage, cloud data ecosystems, and enterprise data management. Responsibilities Data Governance & Metadata Management Implement and manage data governance frameworks using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC). Configure and maintain domains, communities, asset types, relationships, and governance workflows. Develop and manage Business Glossaries, Data Catalogs, and Data Lineage solutions. Conduct impact analysis and support policy management and stewardship processes. Ensure governance standards, controls, and compliance requirements are consistently implemented. Collibra Integration & Automation Design and develop integrations using Collibra DIB (Integration, Edge, and Connect). Build and maintain integrations leveraging REST APIs, JSON, and XML. Support metadata ingestion, synchronization, and governance automation across enterprise platforms. Enable workflow automation and optimize governance processes using Collibra capabilities. Data Quality & Cloud Enablement Integrate Data Quality insights with Collibra DIC to improve governance visibility and control. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data governance maturity. Support governance initiatives across Azure-based data platforms and cloud environments. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for data management and governance practices. Requirements 612 years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Management initiatives. Strong hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC). Expertise in Data Governance Workflows, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Impact Analysis. Experience configuring domains, communities, asset types, and governance relationships. Strong understanding of the Collibra Operating Model. Experience with Collibra DIB (Integration, Edge, and Connect). Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and metadata integration frameworks. Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Synapse Analytics. Working knowledge of Python for automation, API integrations, and data processing. Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
