Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Testing Conduct comprehensive testing of data pipelines and systems to ensure reliability and accuracy. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to identify requirements and validate outcomes. Create and execute automated/manual test cases for databases, ETL processes, and data visualizations. Validate transformation logic, system performance, and data integrity across platforms. Data Analysis Identify inconsistencies and debug data anomalies using strong analytical skills. Process Improvement Develop and maintain detailed test plans, documentation, and strategies. Identify improvement opportunities in quality processes and systems. Collaboration and Communication Work synergistically with data engineers, software developers, and business analysts. Drive actionable insights and share feedback for enhancing system quality and efficiency. Requirements Educational Background Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Required Technical Skills Experience Level: 3-8 years in QA and testing for data-centric or big data projects. SQL expertise for data validation. Solid understanding of ETL workflows. Familiarity with QA tools/frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, Apache JMeter. Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala for automation. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Preferred Skills Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Hive, or Kafka. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frameworks (such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD). Exposure to machine learning workflows is a plus. Certifications in QA or data-related fields are an added advantage. Behavioral Skills Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
