About the role
Role Overview: As an SDE-3 Fullstack at Crimson Enago, you will actively lead a team of young talented web developers. You will take major responsibility for end-to-end project development and delivery along with the Engineering Manager (EM), Principal Engineer (PE), other SDE-3 leads, and Technical Project Manager (TPM). Your primary focus will be coding 100% of the time while also assisting in hiring and training the team. Key Responsibilities: - Frame technical solutions for complex business problems using excellent research skills. - Conduct unit and integration testing and seek to automate testing whenever possible. - Design and conduct a high-quality code-review process to maintain highly performant, testable code following strong software design patterns. - Design optimized scalable solutions by breaking down complex problems into small tasks. - Review and optimize approaches created by the tech team to find optimal solutions. - Estimate project efforts accurately and ensure healthy communication up and down the chain of command. - Optimize, update, and maintain cloud infrastructure and associated costs (AWS) in collaboration with Solution Architect, Engineering Manager, TPM, and other senior developers. - Implement best practices around project deployment and educate the team. - Assist the TPM in the hiring process to build a tech team with high curiosity, resourcefulness, expertise, attention to details, commitment, reliability, and obsession for an amazing user experience. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of enterprise frontend-full-stack web experience working primarily on the AngularJS-Java-AWS stack. - 2+ years of cost-efficient, robust, and highly scalable solution architecting experience. - Extensive experience with backend technologies including relational (Postgres/MySQL) and document (MongoDB) databases, and CI/CD. - Strong experience with AWS technologies like Lambda functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, etc. - 5+ years of experience in HTML5, CSS3, CSS processors, and CSS frameworks with CDN setup and optimization. - Proficiency in developer tooling, monitoring, observability, testing, and profiling for impact analysis. - Experience in collaborating in a highly collaborative environment at a user experience-obsessed startup. - Additional advantage: Experience with Elasticsearch server cluster optimization and Apache Spark/Ray.
