Interested candidates, please share your updated resume to manisha.porla@criticalriver.com About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled MCP (Model Context Protocol) & Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade AI agents and MCP servers. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will own the complete lifecyclefrom developing MCP servers and authentication frameworks to deploying agents on Google Vertex AI Agent Engine and integrating them with Gemini Enterprise. Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers using Python, FastMCP, or integration platforms such as Workato. Build the complete MCP lifecycle, including tool discovery, JSON-RPC over Streamable HTTP, session management, and authentication. Develop and deploy AI agents using Google Vertex AI Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Vertex AI Agent Engine. Integrate AI agents with Gemini Enterprise and enable secure access to enterprise applications and services. Implement OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication, including Authorization Code Flow, PKCE, refresh tokens, and secure per-user token forwarding. Develop scalable cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, IAM, Secret Manager, and related services). Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MCP servers and AI agents in production environments. Ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, and best practices, including least-privilege access and secure secret management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver enterprise AI solutions. Create reusable AI integrations, connectors, and accelerators to improve development efficiency. Preferred Candidate Profile. Preferred candidate profile 5-10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python. Minimum 2 years of experience building Generative AI, AI Agents, or LLM-based enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), FastMCP, or similar AI integration frameworks. Strong knowledge of Google Vertex AI, Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agent Engine, and Gemini models. Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, JWT, and secure authentication mechanisms. Good understanding of JSON-RPC, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development. Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, IAM, Secret Manager, and Service Accounts. Knowledge of enterprise security, cloud architecture, and scalable AI application design. Experience with Workato or other iPaaS platforms is an added advantage. Google Cloud or Generative AI certifications are preferred.
