About the role
Join CrowdStrikes internal SRE team as an Engineer II where youll contribute to empowering our development teams with reliable platform automation and tooling. In this role, youll focus on artifact management and source control service delivery that supports our mission-critical cybersecurity platform while growing your expertise in large-scale systems. Youll work alongside experienced engineers to implement automation solutions, support our development toolchain, and ensure system reliability. What Youll Do: Build and maintain automation to manage platform infrastructure and applications Artifact management and CI/CD infrastructure support Source control administration and optimization Assist in developing cloud agnostic solutions and implementing best practices Monitor availability and contribute to holistic system health assessments Support reliability, quality, and serviceability improvements of systems Create and maintain service documentation Contribute to continuous improvement and developer experience initiatives Communicate with internal customers and stakeholders on upcoming project requirements Gather and analyze metrics from both systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and root cause analysis Partner with and learn from other Engineers Participate in on-call rotation and incident response What Youll Need: 4-7 years of experience working in a large-scale production environment On-Premise Cloud expertise with deploying, scaling, and maintaining services using: Artifact Management services (Artifactory, Nexus, Quay.io) CI/CD tools (Github Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) IaC Provisioning tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terraform) Kubernetes Source Code Management (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github) Observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, ELK/EFK, Datadog) Familiarity with GitOps and how to deploy with Kubernetes orchestration tools such as ArgoCD/FluxCD Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams Track record of outstanding technical documentation and knowledge sharing Must exhibit attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions Ability to make trade offs between short term and long term goals Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment A willingness to seek out and raise process improvement feedback to leadership Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles Bonus Points: Experience using and developing with AI to increase efficiency of existing processes Database operations knowledge (backup/restore, performance tuning) Familiarity with networking patterns (Load balancers, DNS, VIPS, Routing, Firewall rules) Knowledge of multiple cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle) Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
