Job Title: Cold Room Project Engineer Location: Pan India Salary: As per industry standards Working Hours: 9 Hours Timing: 09:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday Role Summary: We are looking for a hands-on Cold Room / Cold Storage Project Engineer with direct experience in designing and executing cold storage and refrigeration projects. This is a field-oriented execution role requiring strong practical knowledge of cold room layouts, insulated panel systems, refrigeration equipment placement, and on-site coordination. The candidate will work closely with vendors, site teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure cold storage projects are delivered on time, within scope, and as per technical standards. Experience Requirements: 2 5 years of direct experience in Cold Room or Cold Storage projects (mandatory) Experience in cold room installation, refrigeration layout design, or cold storage execution Experience in blast freezers, chillers, or temperature-controlled storage projects will be preferred Required Skills Experience: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for Cold Room and Cold Storage layouts (mandatory) Ability to design cold room layouts including panel layout, equipment placement, and airflow paths Clear understanding of insulated panel systems, cold room doors, refrigeration equipment, and temperature zoning Working knowledge of cold storage components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, and piping layouts Experience working on industrial cold storage, cold chain, or refrigeration-based projects Practical understanding of site execution constraints and installation sequencing Ability to coordinate with refrigeration vendors, panel suppliers, and site teams Comfortable visiting sites for measurement verification and execution coordination Detail-oriented with focus on practical, site-ready drawings rather than theoretical layouts Key Responsibilities: Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings specifically for cold rooms, cold storage warehouses, and blast freezers Convert customer requirements into practical cold storage layouts and equipment placement drawings Design panel layouts, refrigeration equipment layouts, airflow circulation paths, and utility placements Coordinate with refrigeration vendors and panel manufacturers using approved drawings Support site teams with technical clarifications, drawing revisions, and execution guidance Verify site dimensions and structural readiness before finalizing layouts Assist Project Manager in execution planning, installation sequencing, and material coordination Identify design conflicts, layout risks, or installation challenges before execution begins Ensure drawings match actual on-site conditions and refrigeration requirements Required Qualifications: Background in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or Diploma equivalent Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
