About the role
As a Data Analyst in Wholesale Banking based in Mumbai, your role will be to support the Portfolio Manager by providing accurate, timely, and actionable data insights. Your responsibilities will include: - Gathering, organizing, and preparing data for reporting to regulatory bodies and auditors, such as the RBI. - Ensuring data accuracy to support internal compliance and audit readiness efforts. - Tracking key portfolio metrics like documentation status, security coverage, and cash flows to align with sanction terms. - Updating and maintaining data to reflect the portfolio health accurately for senior leadership reviews. - Collecting and analyzing data on business metrics like Average Book Size, NII, Fee Income, Cost-to-Income Ratio, ROA, and liabilities. - Creating and distributing performance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders to facilitate timely decision-making. - Collaborating with IT, Credit, Operations, and CAT teams to identify data-related inefficiencies and propose process improvements. - Providing data analysis and reporting support for strategic initiatives and projects led by the Portfolio Manager.
