Role Overview: As a Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to author test plans, design complex test cases, review test cases, and automate the test cycle process. You will need to ensure test execution productivity, manage defects according to the process, and release test dashboards in a timely manner. Additionally, maintaining quality interaction and providing timely responses to stakeholders is crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Execute tests, track and monitor defects/stories to closure, and produce test metrics and reports. - Proactively identify potential delivery-related issues and develop mitigation plans. - Implement creative and innovative testing methods to meet project goals while upholding quality standards. - Participate in refining testing practices and methodologies. - Prepare and assist in performing test estimation, test strategy, and test plan. - Coordinate and prepare test bed/test data for execution. - Take ownership of Test Automation using TOSCA tool. - Specialize in at least one testing area, such as functional or performance testing. - Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Penny Test. - Ensure constructive working relationships within the team and with other functional groups. Qualifications: - 6-8 years minimum of overall experience in manual and automation testing projects. - Knowledge of TOSCA is mandatory, and familiarity with any other automation tool would be an added advantage. - Good understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) concepts. - Strong exposure to testing terminologies and processes. - Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, and Confluence. - Previous experience with Cash Management products, specifically Payments, and ideally Virtual Account Management. - A strong commitment to quality and efficiency. - Excellent multitasking ability, including tracking multiple issues, effective time management, handling competing priorities, and driving results through partner organizations.
