Quality Controller (Electronics Engineer)

Job Summary The Quality Controller Electronics Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all electronic components, PCBs, control panels, wiring harnesses, power supplies, sensors, motors, lighting systems, and embedded electronic assemblies received from contract manufacturers and vendors meet the companys quality standards before integration into products. The role involves incoming quality inspection, testing, vendor quality audits, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Inspect all incoming electronic assemblies from vendors or visit the vendor location to ensure quality adherence. Perform functional testing of: PCBs Embedded controllers PLC Panels Power Supplies Audio Systems LED Controllers Motor Controllers Sensors Verify wiring quality and electrical safety. Check soldering quality, connectors, cable management, and labeling. Develop quality inspection checklists and acceptance standards. Conduct random production audits at vendor locations. Diagnose failures and identify root causes. Coordinate with vendors for corrective actions (CAPA). Ensure products comply with design specifications. Maintain inspection records and quality reports. Support prototype validation before mass production. Work closely with RD, Production and Procurement teams. Required Skills Good knowledge of electronics testing. PCB inspection techniques. Multimeter, Oscilloscope and Logic Analyzer usage. Power electronics understanding. Embedded controller testing. Electrical wiring standards. Root Cause Analysis. Vendor Quality Management. Documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications B.E./B.Tech Electronics Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation. 3 8 years in electronics manufacturing.
