Role summar yWe are looking for a skilled and self-driven Software Engineer to take ownership of complex features across our enterprise product suite. You will work closely with the Software Architect and Associate Technical Manager to deliver high-quality, well-tested code that meets both business and technical requirements. You will be expected to go beyond just writing code — you will contribute to technical discussions, review peers work, and continuously improve the codebase . Responsibiliti esDesign, develop, and unit-test features for core modules such as the Production Planning Engine or Payroll Calculation Syste m.Translate technical design documents (TDDs) from the Architect into clean, maintainable Java/J2EE cod e.Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for MSSQL/Oracle databases; analyse execution plans to address performance bottleneck s.Build and maintain Angular components while adhering to the established data-flow and component-architecture standard s.Participate in code reviews — give constructive feedback on maintainability, security, and correctnes s.Proactively identify and flag technical debt; propose targeted refactoring to the Architec t.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues including memory leaks, slow queries, and logic defect s.Collaborate with QA and business analysts to clarify requirements and close gaps early in the development cycl e.Document technical decisions and support junior developers through pair-programming and informal mentorin g. Qualificati ons5 to 7 years of professional software development experien ce.Working knowledge of Angular component architecture and RESTful API integrati on.Proficiency in Java/J2EE — Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Multithreadi ng.Solid command of MSSQL or Oracle: stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query tuni ng.Familiarity with OOP principles and at least a few common design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Observe r).Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab) and version control (Gi t).Exposure to Docker and code-quality tools such as SonarQube is a pl us.Ability to read and act on technical design documents independently with minimal supervisi on.Good communicator who can articulate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholde rs.
