About the role
Role: Client: American Airlines.
Location: Hybrid DFW.
Position is 20% hybrid (1-2 days onsite)

• Relational databases
• 2 - 7 years of experience
Key Projects:
• Pilot Readiness team
• Tools that support planning for pilot training
• Tools that support compliance with mandates around pilot training
Summary:
o Develop and design web applications and websites.
o Responsible for directing website content creation, enhancement, and maintenance.
o The technical skills include knowledge of computer hardware and software.
o Education/Experience o Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required
o 5-7 years related experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
o Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software (Required)
o Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in the production of drawings and models (Required)
o Knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Design, build, or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media
o Write, design, or edit web page content
o Perform website updates o Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
o Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards, and is compatible with devices or operation systems
o Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
o Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
