Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Architect with a strong background in data management and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with Databricks and a proven ability to engage with clients effectively. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of data across the organization .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the proposed platform meets compliance, security, and data privacy requirements.

• Collaborate with the Data Platform Architect to ensure proper data access, sharing, and management across the platform.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and best practices.

• Provide guidance on best practices for data preparation, exploration, and visualization within the platform.

• Monitor and enforce data governance policies, including financial governance, PII data management, and secure data sharing.

• Utilize Databricks for data processing, analytics, and governance activities.

• Facilitate client-facing discussions to understand their data governance needs and challenges.

• Conduct assessments of data quality and compliance with governance policies.

• Provide recommendations for improvements in data management and governance processes.

• Create and maintain documentation for data governance initiatives.

• Train and mentor team members on data governance principles and tools.

• Provide client-facing support, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Databricks.

• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.

• Proficiency in data management and analytics tools.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
