Detailed Job Description:

Cuboid is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. You will perform design and development tasks on core components for Rotating Components and have functional design responsibility for both new and existing components, working closely under the technical oversight of our experienced Sr. Project Engineer. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of innovative designs and the continuous improvement of our rotating components. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Job Duties

Perform design and development tasks on core components for Rotating Components (MedVee/3500/C175/3600) - specifically critical fasteners, bearings, and crankshafts.

Functional design responsibility for new and existing components under technical oversite through existing Sr. Project Engineer

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science with 3+ years’ experience in design or related manufacturing, operations, or quality role

Well-developed oral and written communication skills

Ability to assess and apply technical specifications and geometric dimensions/tolerancing.

Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint

Desired Skills & Experience

CREO, ProE/Solidworks, Teamcenter

6Sigma or Lean Training

Demonstrated success working in cross functional teams.

Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience

Experience in Failure Analysis
